After a career dominated by a function-prioritizing systems analysis mentality, I had an opportunity to work at Max Interactive. There I had an opportunity to expand my skills by learning to care not just for the function of a product but also to the experience it generates for its users and stakeholders.
The design ethos at Max Interactive was founded on purpose-driven design, recognizing and addressing needs and drivers of stakeholders, and story & narrative in product design. My work included market research, product design (shaping), UI, UX, and branding (some of which were executed with subcontractors).
In 2006 Max Interactive was dissolved and I continued to do some consultancy work as a freelancer.
