After a few years of practice (weekly group lessons, one-on-one lessons, personal daily practice, and yearly retreats) I became interested in the underlying knowledge that informed my teachers and how they taught me. I convinced my Israeli teacher to initiate her first teacher training in Israel based on the training she undertook with her teacher in the UK.
This was an extensive (~800 hour) training over 4 years. It empowered me to be more independent in my own practice. Over time, I became comfortable enough to also teach others.
Though officially this training had an end date, it feels like it continues to live on inside me. It is an accreditation I rarely cite and the most meaningful I have attained.
During the pandemic I created two public offerings:
- A online introducton course to Pranayama breathing practices.
- An invitation to explore a shared breathing experience for teams.
